At the end of July, Mark and Greg spent four nights at Wilson's Cabins on Moosehead Lake. Their cabin is the one in the middle with the ATVs.
This was the view from the cabin.
To the left of the view was this river flowing from the lake. Visitors are able to fish both the lake and the river.
The first day they hit the trails and covered about 60 miles.
On day two they hiked Mt. Kineo. The trail to the top follows the cliff face shown below with many scenic lake overlooks.
This is the 70 foot fire tower at the top of the climb, that offers a full 360 degree views.
On day three they covered another 60 miles on the trails and ended their stay relaxing by the campfire.
